Project Overview

This initiative addresses the urgent humanitarian needs of the Rohingya population who fled targeted violence and systemic discrimination in Myanmar. It supports ongoing emergency relief operations in Bangladesh’s Kutupalong refugee camp, the world’s largest refugee settlement, focusing on safety, health, and rights-based repatriation.
Beneficiary Profile
The primary beneficiaries are over 688,000 Rohingya refugees, many of whom are women, children, and elderly, residing in overcrowded and precarious conditions in Cox’s Bazar. Many fled Myanmar after witnessing violence and persecution, and now live in camps prone to disease, flooding, and landslides.
